Meet Tony
Urfalyan.
I'm Aram Tony Urfalyan — founder of Wealthbridge Financial. I've spent the last 10+ years in financial services working with clients ranging from first-time savers to high-net-worth families. After years inside some of the country's largest financial institutions — Wells Fargo, JPMorgan, and Prudential — I went independent to build the kind of practice I'd want as a client: one where the advice is genuinely independent, the fees are transparent, and the plan is built for you, not sold to you.
A short story.
I grew up in a household where medicine was the family business. My father was a military doctor. My wife is a pediatric nurse practitioner. Most of our family dinners, somewhere along the way, turn into a conversation about patients, cases, or the healthcare system. Medicine was what I assumed I'd do too.
I started down that path. Pre-med in high school, all the right classes, the right volunteer work — I logged hours at USC Verdugo Hills Hospital from 2008 to 2010 thinking it would confirm my direction. And then I spent time in the ICU. It was the moment I realized — with clarity that was both humbling and honest — that medicine wasn't my calling. I have enormous respect for the people who do it. But I knew I needed to find my own path.
That path turned out to be finance. I transferred into business studies, earned my B.S. in Business Finance from the University of Phoenix, and started my career at Wells Fargo as a Premier Banker in 2012. From there, I worked my way up through progressively larger platforms — JPMorgan as a Private Banker, then five years at Pruco Securities / Prudential. Somewhere along the way, I realized the kind of practice I actually wanted to run was one I'd have to build myself. In May 2023, I founded Wealthbridge Financial.
Along the way I earned my Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®) designation from the American College of Financial Services in February 2025, followed by my CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) certification in September 2025. Those designations reflect the kind of planning I wanted to be doing: comprehensive, fiduciary, and built around the whole picture — not just what's in the brokerage account.
Today, my practice focuses heavily on medical professionals and business owners — two groups I understand well, for different reasons. Medical professionals, because I grew up in that world and speak the language of late earning starts, 457(b) decisions, own-occupation disability, and the particular financial pattern of a medical career. Business owners, because I've spent my career working alongside them through capital events, exit planning, and the complicated intersection of personal and business finances.
Do what you say you're going to do. Treat others how you'd like to be treated.
The reason behind Wealthbridge.
Going independent wasn't a decision I made overnight. It was the natural next step for the kind of advisor I wanted to be.
As a true fiduciary, I wanted the freedom to select investments from across the entire market based solely on what fits each client's plan. I wanted fee transparency. I wanted to build deep, long-term relationships with a smaller number of clients rather than run on quotas. I wanted to be able to say "no" to a product when it wasn't right, and "yes" to a strategy because it actually served the person across from me — not because it fit a corporate objective.
So in 2023 I founded Wealthbridge Financial. Today, advisory services are delivered under fiduciary standard through Acrylic Financial, our partner RIA, with client assets custodied at Charles Schwab. That structure — independent advisor, independent RIA, independent custodian — is the foundation that makes everything else possible.
